Be an Edwardian for the Day
St Augustine’s Church, in Rock Avenue, Gillingham are breaking with tradition and are holding their Autumn Festive Fayre inside the church. The event, which has an Edwardian theme is being held on Saturday 12th November between 1.30 and 4pm. Organiser, Eddie Hooper, said that this year the church site is 100 years old so we thought the Edwardian theme was appropriate.
For an entrance fee of just 20p there will be live music, children’s activities, raffles and tombolas and over 20 stalls selling craft items, jewellery, perfume and bric-a-brac. Light refreshments will be available for a small charge.
